About Me
I recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with the degree of Master of Science in Computer Science with 3.9/4.0 GPA. I am interested to work for an organization in a highly motivated and challenging environment that would provide the best opportunities to grow and utilize my potential to the fullest to achieve the organization’s goal while achieving my personal.
During my study, I had the opportunity to explore both Machine Learning and Software Development. I also worked on web application projects, one involving Django (Python) framework and the other involving J2EE and MVC Architecture. One of the most exciting projects that I worked was "Speech Sentiment Analysis". This is the project which employs various Machine Learning techniques and is implemented in Python. The entire process was challenging, and it allowed me to tap into and explore a new domain. I also took a course in Mobile Application Development in which I built numerous Android applications.
Before pursuing my masters, I worked as Systems Engineer at Infosys Ltd. for 1 year and 6 months. I was part of the various phases of software development lifecycle which included Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, and Maintenance in an Agile model. During this tenure I had the responsibility to maintain and update Informatica PowerCenter mappings, updating Perl Script and PowerScripts. I also had the opportunity to learn Business Intelligence Tools - Informatica PowerCenter 10.1, SQL Server Integration Service, Tableau, IBM Cognos and received insights on FinTech and financial domain as a part of the process. My other responsibilities included Knowledge Management and Knowledge Transfer, and as a part of it, I had the opportunity to investigate Blockchain Technology.
I also worked as an intern at Infosys Ltd., and received training in open source techologies. These include – Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL and Apache Tomcat.
